Description: UT Scientists have been gathering, studying, and describing a collection of over 60,000 specimens in the UT Fungal Herbarium. This collection is especially strong in specimens from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. About 900 "type" specimens used to establish new species were selected and have been digitized by the Digital Library Center.
