| Description: | Hungarian Americans of Cleveland is one of a series of websites developed or planned by Cleveland State University Library to explore the ethnic influence that helped shape the history and development of Cleveland and the website is also supported by the Cleveland Hungarian Heritage Society. Cleveland is, and has been, a destination of immigrants from all over the world. The Hungarian community is one such ethnic group, resulting in the second largest Hungarian group in the world, second only to Budapest, Hungary. Currently, there are over 130,000 Hungarian-Americans in the Cleveland area. |
